Until new nano lithium technology comes in later in 2009, mobile phone batteries are still notoriously flaky. Just when you need to make an important call the battery indicator tells you the charge is all but extinct. You may have conditioned your battery in line with all of the advice and old wives tales floating around but still have to re-charge yours every day. Short of buying a spare and keeping that charged what can you do?
Speed - you can have variable speed option in these cordless drills. You need to buy a drill which will provide you with the appropriate amount of speed that you want. Depending upon the speed you will be able to screw on things a lot quicker or even slower. So keep the speed in mind while buying it.
There are two things that kill a notebook battery; heat and operating outside its voltage specifications, overcharge or undercharge in plain English. They are easy to avoid if you can identify the sources. Heat has two big group of players internal sources such as the processor graphics card hard disk drive and the internal lithium stock resistance of the battery itself.
The first thing to know is that simple battery care can enhance the performance and useful life of your cell phone battery. OLithium-ion Batteries: these are the newest type of cell phone battery and, while having certain advantages over the older NIMH and NICD batteries, care must still be taken to ensure they perform at their best. For example, a new Lithium mines Ontario-ion battery should be "conditioned". What this basically means is that for the battery's first three charge cycles, fully charge the battery overnight and allow it to fully discharge before charging it again. This will increase the life and effectiveness of the cell phone battery.
Some cordless impact drills are now using lithium-ion batteries which take a lot less time to get a full charge. For instance, I personally use a Makita 18V lithium-ion impact drill and it takes fifteen minutes to charge as opposed to my standard 18V Dewalt drill. The Makita is also equipped with a built-in LED light for illuminating areas with little to no light. The LED light feature in particular is one of my favorites.
